This handbook and guidance material for the implementation of the modular PRIME PETE programme. The handbook and guidance material shall facilitate an easy and flexible implementation of the modular PETE programme in different contexts.

The future users of the developed PETE programme and its course modules will find here support and guidance when it comes to the implementation in their respective contexts. The guidance material was made available in one well-structured place – this handbook – in order to facilitate this kind of implementation.

The target groups addressed by the handbook and guidance material are the following:

• Teacher education institutions;

• Teachers;

• Stakeholders and policy makers in charge of teacher education.

The basis for the handbook and guidance material were outputs IO#1, IO#2, IO#3, IO#4 and especially IO#5. The handbook and guidance material bring the users information on the process of the IOs developments. The document is available online in its final version as an open access resource.

With the help of this handbook, an easy and flexible implementation of the modular PETE programme in different contexts should succeed, which helps to pursue the mission of the PRIME PETE project.
